Ejercicio 5 - a · Inglés PAU Navarra Extraordinaria 2026

5.a. Write a complaint letter to the selection committee explaining what happened and why you think it was unfair (140-180 words).

Solución: Dear Selection Committee, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the decision to disqualify me from the recent astronaut selection process, which I believe was unjust. After successfully completing the physical endurance and aptitude assessments, I was unexpectedly informed of my elimination following a routine electrocardiogram. While I completely understand the critical importance of medical fitness in space missions, the examination was conducted under highly stressful and hurried conditions without allowing me an adequate rest period beforehand. Furthermore, my request to repeat the test with an independent cardiologist was dismissed without a valid scientific explanation. Given that all my subsequent comprehensive medical records demonstrate optimal cardiovascular health, discarding my candidacy based on a single, isolated reading seems entirely disproportionate. Therefore, I respectfully request that you review my case and grant me the opportunity to undergo a second medical evaluation under proper conditions. I look forward to your prompt response. Yours faithfully, [Candidate Name]
