In addition, phones provide instant access to educational resources, news, and productivity tools, enabling users to study and work efficiently from almost anywhere. For many young people, they are also a great source of entertainment and relaxation after a stressful day. On the other hand, excessive screen time poses serious health and social risks. It often leads to sedentary habits, eye strain, and sleep disturbances caused by blue light exposure. Furthermore, spending too much time scrolling through social media can foster feelings of isolation and anxiety, damaging face-to-face communication and interpersonal relationships. In conclusion, smartphones offer immense benefits when used appropriately. However, overusing them can negatively affect our physical and mental well-being. Therefore, it is essential to establish healthy boundaries and use these devices in moderation.
