B5. Are you a regular dry texter? Give reasons.

Solución: Model answer (about 140 words; any well-argued opinion is valid): To be honest, I am not a regular dry texter, although it depends on who I am talking to. With my close friends, I usually write long messages full of emojis, because I want them to understand exactly how I feel. A simple "OK" can sound cold or even angry, and I don't want to hurt anyone by accident. However, I must admit that I sometimes reply with just one word. When I am studying or very tired, I don't have the time or the energy to write more, so "yes", "no" or "see you" is enough. My family group chat is a good example: we mostly use it to organise things, not to chat. In conclusion, I think dry texting is not bad in itself, but we should be careful, because the person reading our message cannot see our face or hear our voice.
