A5. Do you use filters on social media? Why?

Solución: Sample answer: Nowadays, social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok offer a wide range of filters that can completely change a person's appearance. In my opinion, using filters can be fun, but it also has significant drawbacks. On the one hand, I occasionally use subtle filters when sharing pictures with friends because they enhance lighting and colors. For many teenagers, filters are simply a creative tool to make images more entertaining or artistic. As long as they are used playfully, there is no real harm in trying them. On the other hand, heavy filters that alter facial features or skin tone can promote unrealistic beauty standards. Constantly comparing ourselves to digitally perfected faces often leads to insecurity and low self-esteem. For this reason, I try to avoid distorting filters and prefer sharing authentic photos. In conclusion, while filters can add fun to social media, we should use them mindfully to protect our self-confidence.
