a. Imagine you have a friend who is constantly checking his/her phone. You are worried and decide to send him/her an email. In your message explain why you are worried and offer him/her your advice and your help.

Solución: Dear Alex, I hope you are doing well. I am writing because I've been quite concerned about you lately. Every time we hang out, whether we are having lunch or studying together, you seem glued to your phone screen. I really worry about how this habit is affecting you. Not only does it make it difficult for us to have a genuine conversation, but I have also noticed that you look exhausted and stressed. Spending hours scrolling through social media feeds can negatively impact your mental wellbeing and your grades. Maybe you could try setting some daily limits on your screen time. For instance, you could turn off notifications while studying or keep your phone out of reach during meals and before bedtime. If you want, we could even take up an outdoor activity together, like cycling or jogging, where we leave our phones in our backpacks. Remember that I am always here to support you whenever you need to talk. Let me know what you think! Best wishes, Sam
