When I went outside, I discovered that someone had completely covered my front exterior wall with spray paint without asking for permission. While I appreciate urban art and acknowledge that some murals can beautify public spaces, this act was neither artistic nor respectful. It consists of chaotic signatures that ruin the appearance of my recently renovated home. Removing this paint will cost me a considerable amount of money, which I believe is entirely unfair. In my opinion, true art requires consent. Painting on private or public property without authorization is not self-expression; it is simply vandalism. If aspiring artists wish to share their work, local authorities should provide designated legal spaces where they can paint freely without harming residents.
