Task 5 - Option d · Inglés PAU Murcia Ordinaria 2022

WRITE AN EMAIL to your History teacher to ask her to give you extra time to submit your homework, a project about Al-Andalus. Give her reasons why you have not been able to finish the project on time and why a project like yours deserves extra time.

Solución: Dear Ms. Smith, I am writing to respectfully request a short extension on the deadline for our History project about Al-Andalus, which is due this Friday. Over the past two weeks, I have encountered an unforeseen family situation that required me to travel unexpectedly, leaving me with much less time to dedicate to my studies. Consequently, I have not been able to complete the final sections of the assignment on time. However, I have already conducted extensive research on the cultural and scientific legacy of the Caliphate of Cordoba. Rather than handing in an incomplete summary, I am developing a detailed analysis that compares historical architectural styles with surviving monuments. I genuinely believe that with just three more days, I will be able to produce an outstanding and thoroughly documented project that truly meets the high standards of your class. Thank you very much for your understanding and consideration of my request. Yours sincerely, Alex Johnson
