Solución: During the recent health crisis, the media frequently portrayed teenagers and young adults as irresponsible and reckless. In my view, this unfair generalization overlooks the commitment, sacrifices, and solidarity demonstrated by the vast majority of the youth. First of all, blaming an entire generation because of a minority that attended illegal parties is completely unjust. Most young citizens strictly followed safety guidelines, wore masks, and respected curfews, even though their social lives and education were severely disrupted. In fact, many students adapted instantly to stressful online learning environments without complaining. Furthermore, countless young people actively supported their communities during the toughest moments. Many volunteered to buy groceries for elderly neighbours, delivered essential medicines, or assisted healthcare workers. Rather than behaving selfishly, they demonstrated enormous empathy and civic responsibility towards vulnerable groups. To sum up, although isolated instances of misconduct undoubtedly occurred, accusing all young individuals of selfishness is fundamentally mistaken. Today’s youth proved their maturity and resilience under unprecedented circumstances.
