Solución: In my opinion, requiring international tourists to present a COVID-19 vaccine passport before entering Spain is a necessary and sensible measure. First and foremost, public health must remain our highest priority. Given that Spain relies heavily on the tourism industry, welcoming millions of visitors without health checks could trigger new outbreaks, overwhelming hospitals and endangering vulnerable residents. A health certificate provides essential reassurance that incoming travelers are far less likely to spread severe disease. Secondly, this passport actually facilitates economic recovery. Instead of enforcing sudden lockdowns or lengthy quarantines, having a standardized digital pass allows borders to remain open smoothly and reliably. Visitors can enjoy their holidays safely, while local businesses, hotels, and restaurants can operate with confidence. Although some critics argue that such requirements restrict freedom of movement, the collective well-being of society outweighs individual inconvenience during a global health emergency. For these reasons, I firmly support the implementation of vaccine certificates to ensure safe and sustainable international travel.
