Solución: Option A (Opinion Essay): Nowadays, wearing expensive designer brands like Nike, Adidas or luxury fashion labels has become an obsession for many young people. In my opinion, while brand-name clothes can sometimes offer good quality and stylish designs, paying exorbitant prices simply for a visible logo is completely unnecessary. First of all, consumer society encourages people to believe that their worth depends on the labels they wear. Teenagers, in particular, often face immense peer pressure to wear trendy brands in order to gain social acceptance and fit into certain groups. However, wearing a Michael Kors bag or Nike trainers does not define a person's intelligence, character, or kindness. Secondly, from an economic standpoint, spending a fortune on branded garments is a waste of money. High street and unbranded clothing can be equally durable, comfortable, and fashionable at a fraction of the cost. In addition, purchasing cheap and sustainable clothes allows people to save money for truly meaningful experiences, such as travelling or education. In conclusion, although choosing to wear designer brands is a respectable personal choice, nobody should judge others based on clothing. True style comes from individuality and confidence, not from expensive logos. --- Option B (Email to friends): Subject: Our behaviour towards the new student Hi guys, I am writing to you because I need to get something off my chest. Over the past few days, I have noticed that some of you have been making fun of the new student simply because of the way he dresses. To be honest, I felt really uncomfortable seeing that, and I think we need to talk about it. First, starting at a new school is already stressful and intimidating enough without having people pointing fingers or whispering behind your back. Just because his clothes are different or unbranded does not give anyone the right to mock him. Clothes are a personal choice and often depend on individual tastes or family economic circumstances. We have always prided ourselves on being a welcoming and open-minded group of friends. Teasing someone for their appearance goes against our values and borders on bullying. How would any of us feel if we were in his shoes? I really hope you can reflect on this. Instead of laughing at him, we should make an effort to get to know him and make him feel welcome.
