Part IV. Writing - Option 2 · Inglés PAU Castilla-La Mancha Ordinaria 2024

OPTION 2: Do you believe in luck? Can luck change people's lives? Give your opinion.

Solución: Sample composition (at least 125 words): Many people wonder whether our destiny is shaped by hard work or simply by good fortune. In my opinion, while luck certainly plays a role in our lives, dedication and personal choices are much more important. First of all, chance events can undoubtedly transform a person's life in an instant. Winning the lottery, being born into a prosperous family, or meeting the right mentor at a crucial time are clear examples of unexpected luck. Such events can open doors and provide opportunities that would otherwise remain inaccessible. However, I strongly believe that luck alone cannot guarantee long-term happiness or success. Without discipline and determination, even the most fortunate individuals can squander great opportunities. As the famous proverb says, luck favors the prepared mind; we must work hard to seize fortunate moments when they arrive. In conclusion, although unpredictable circumstances can alter the course of our lives, our daily effort and resilience ultimately define who we become.
