Incurable illnesses from previous centuries are now easily treated, and life expectancy is higher than ever. Furthermore, instant communication allows us to stay connected with family across the globe and access unlimited information in seconds. Human rights, education, and social equality have also progressed remarkably. On the other hand, the fast pace of modern life causes significant stress and mental health issues. Moreover, industrial development has created severe environmental problems like climate change and pollution, which past societies rarely faced. In conclusion, despite the challenges of modern life, the medical, social, and technological advantages of living in the present far outweigh its disadvantages.
