While this shift offers numerous advantages, it also entails certain drawbacks that deserve careful consideration. On the one hand, tablets provide unquestionable benefits. They are lightweight and capable of storing hundreds of digital books, preventing students from carrying heavy backpacks every day. Furthermore, interactive applications, videos, and internet access make learning significantly more engaging, dynamic, and up-to-date. On the other hand, there are considerable disadvantages. Tablets can easily become a major source of distraction, as games, notifications, and social media tempt students during class. Additionally, excessive screen time may cause eyestrain, and technical malfunctions or battery issues can disrupt teaching. In conclusion, although tablets represent an invaluable pedagogical tool, they should complement rather than entirely replace traditional learning methods to ensure balanced student development.
