Ejercicio 6 - Opción a · Inglés PAU Canarias Julio (Reserva) 2025

a) A friend of yours in the UK has just bought an iguana as a pet. Write an email to your friend explaining what you think about that.

Solución: Hi Alex, I hope you are doing well. I was really surprised to hear that you just got an iguana as a pet! It certainly sounds like a unique and fascinating creature, but I have mixed feelings about your decision. On the one hand, reptiles are undeniably cool, and I understand why you find them captivating. However, on the other hand, keeping an exotic animal requires immense dedication. Iguanas need specialized terrariums with specific temperatures, UV lighting, and a strict vegetarian diet. Moreover, they can grow very large and become difficult to handle in an ordinary flat. Are you sure you have enough time and resources to care for it properly? Wild animals often suffer when kept in captivity without professional care. Anyway, send me some pictures soon! Take care and let me know how it goes.
