6. b) Are you a fan of the latest gadgets? Give your opinion. Write a composition of about 140-180 words.

Solución: Nowadays, new electronic devices hit the market almost every month, promising to make our lives easier and more entertaining. However, although many people feel the urge to upgrade constantly, I cannot consider myself a fan of the latest gadgets. First of all, buying the newest smartphones, smartwatches, or tablets is extremely expensive. Most new models offer only minor upgrades compared to their previous versions, such as a slightly better camera or a new colour. In my view, spending hundreds of euros on small improvements is unnecessary when older devices function perfectly well. Secondly, the constant race for new technology contributes to electronic waste, which seriously harms the environment. Rather than succumbing to aggressive marketing, I prefer to keep my electronic equipment for as long as possible until it stops working. To sum up, while I appreciate how useful technology is, I do not believe in chasing every new trend. Practicality and sustainability are far more important to me than owning the latest gadget.
