5.- Write about 150 to 200 words on the following topic: Quiet places versus crowded places for holidays. Explain which one you prefer and why.

Solución: When planning a holiday, travellers often face the dilemma of choosing between bustling, crowded destinations and peaceful, quiet spots. Both options offer completely different experiences, but in my opinion, quiet places are far more rewarding. On the one hand, crowded places such as major capitals or popular coastal resorts provide constant entertainment, lively nightlife, and a wide variety of cultural attractions. However, dealing with long queues, noise, and massive groups of tourists can easily turn a relaxing break into a stressful ordeal. On the other hand, peaceful destinations—like secluded mountain villages or quiet countryside retreats—allow us to truly disconnect from the pressures of modern life. In these environments, one can enjoy nature, read, take long walks, and recharge both mentally and physically. For me, holidays are meant to restore energy rather than deplete it. In conclusion, although crowded cities can be exciting for a short weekend trip, I definitely prefer quiet and serene locations for my holidays, as they provide genuine rest and tranquility.
