Ejercicio 4.2 · Inglés PAU Galicia Extraordinaria (2ª lengua extranjera) 2025

4.2. Write a composition on whether you would consider a career in teaching. (120 words)

Solución: Choosing a future career is one of the most challenging decisions a young person must make. While education plays a fundamental role in our society, I personally would not consider a career in teaching. On the one hand, being an educator is undoubtedly rewarding. Teachers have the unique opportunity to inspire students, share knowledge, and shape future generations. Moreover, having holidays during summer is an attractive benefit. On the other hand, the profession involves substantial pressure and immense responsibility. Teachers frequently face large classrooms, lack of discipline, and heavy administrative workloads outside school hours. Additionally, salaries often fail to reflect the immense dedication required. In conclusion, although I deeply respect educators, I prefer to pursue a profession that aligns better with my personal skills and interests.
