Solución: Ejemplo de redacción: If extreme weather alerts warned of heavy rainstorms approaching my area, I would take several safety measures to protect my home and family. First of all, I would check the weather forecasts regularly and follow instructions from emergency authorities. At home, it would be essential to clear gutters and balcony drains to prevent water accumulation. In addition, I would secure outdoor furniture and check windows to stop leaks. Furthermore, avoiding unnecessary travel by car is vital, as flooded roads can quickly become death traps. I would ensure we have an emergency kit with basic supplies, such as bottled water, non-perishable food, flashlights, and fully charged mobile devices in case of power cuts. In conclusion, staying informed and well prepared can minimize significant risks during severe weather events. Prevention and caution are the most effective tools to ensure everyone's safety.
