1. Describe why the use of face masks by people infected by COVID-19 helps stop the spread of the virus.

Solución: The coronavirus spreads through respiratory droplets travelling in the air when someone coughs, sneezes, talks, shouts or sings. Face masks protect other people from getting those infected droplets into their healthy bodies.

2. Should healthy people wear face masks too?

Solución: The answer to this question is an absolute yes! Researchers claim that face masks should be worn by everyone. Healthy people wearing face masks have less chance of getting the virus and, even if they do eventually get it, the effects of the disease won't be so strong.

3. Do people with COVID-19 all show symptoms of the disease?

Solución: No, they don't. Researchers indicate that around 40% of those who have been infected with the virus do not develop any symptoms. In other words, you can be sick without having symptoms.

4. What are the positive effects of wearing face masks for the overall health service?

Solución: Everybody's wearing face masks not only reduces the rates of infection but also the number of people hospitalized and the number of people dying from the disease.
