Solución: Lost in the Heart of Porto Last summer, I found myself wandering alone through the hilly streets of Porto. Armed only with a pocket map, I decided to explore the city by foot and vintage tram rather than taking taxis. While admiring the blue ceramic tiles of São Bento station, I took a wrong turn and ended up in a labyrinth of steep, cobblestone alleys. My phone battery died suddenly, leaving me completely disoriented. Fortunately, an elderly baker noticed my confusion and kindly invited me into his shop. Despite the language barrier, he offered me a warm pastry and patiently drew directions toward the Douro River on a paper napkin. Following his sketch, I eventually reached the riverbank just as the sun was setting behind the Dom Luís I Bridge. That unforgettable afternoon taught me that getting lost often leads to the most genuine human connections.
