All of us occasionally have arguments with our friends, even with people who have been our very close friends for a long time. Big arguments sometimes mean the end of a friendship, and that often upsets us. In other cases, we are able to forgive and forget, and continue on with our friendship. Write a narrative about an argument with your best friend.

Solución: Lucas and I had been inseparable since primary school, but last summer a petty misunderstanding nearly ruined our friendship. We had spent weeks planning a weekend camping trip in the Pyrenees. However, two days before our departure, Lucas announced that he was going to a beach party with his new football teammates instead. I felt betrayed and accused him of being disloyal. The tension escalated rapidly, and hurtful words were exchanged before I slammed the door and walked away. For nearly a month, we did not exchange a single word. The silence felt unbearable because I missed his humour and advice. Finally, on a rainy afternoon, I received a message from him apologising for letting me down. We met at our favourite café, talked openly about our feelings, and reconciled. That argument taught us that genuine friendships require honesty and mutual respect.
