2. Nowadays, we are aware of the negative effects of social media, but there are also wonderful things we owe to social media. Do you agree with this statement? Explain.

Solución: Sample essay structure / open response following the official rubric: Social media has radically transformed modern communication. While critics frequently point out its downsides, such as addiction, misinformation, and reduced attention spans, I firmly agree that we also owe wonderful benefits to these digital networks. First and foremost, social media allows us to connect instantly with friends, relatives, and colleagues across the globe, overcoming geographical barriers that previously seemed insurmountable. Additionally, it provides unprecedented access to diverse perspectives, educational content, and global news in real time. Platforms have also democratized entrepreneurship, empowering small businesses, creators, and charitable causes to reach international audiences at minimal cost. In conclusion, although the negative consequences of social media should not be ignored, its power to connect people, foster learning, and promote positive social movements demonstrates that its advantages are truly remarkable when used responsibly.
