Solución: Sample essay structure / open response following the official rubric: Nowadays, physical appearance seems to play a crucial role in younger generations' lives. Recent studies reveal that Millennials and Generation Z constitute 80% of gym members, which clearly suggests a growing focus on fitness and aesthetics compared to earlier generations. In my opinion, young people today are indeed more concerned with their appearance than their parents or grandparents were. The primary reason is the omnipresence of social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, where visual perfection and curated lifestyles are constantly showcased. This constant exposure creates intense pressure to conform to unrealistic beauty standards. However, going to the gym is not merely about vanity; many young individuals also exercise to manage stress, improve their mental health, and adopt healthier lifestyles. In conclusion, while social media intensifies appearance-related pressure, health and well-being are also driving younger generations towards regular fitness routines.
