A.5.- Write about 150 to 200 words on the following topic: Do you think it is more interesting to become a scientist or an artist? Justify your opinion.

Solución: Sample answer: Choosing between becoming a scientist or an artist is a classic debate about two seemingly opposite ways of understanding the world. While both paths offer unique ways to explore reality, I firmly believe that becoming a scientist is more intellectually stimulating and rewarding. First of all, science allows individuals to make tangible contributions that directly improve human lives. Scientists develop life-saving vaccines, explore renewable energy sources, and unravel the fundamental laws of nature. The thrill of formulating a hypothesis, conducting experiments, and discovering something previously unknown provides an unparalleled sense of purpose. On the other hand, art is undoubtedly essential for personal expression and cultural enrichment. However, science also requires a tremendous amount of creativity and imagination when solving complex problems or designing novel experiments. Far from being rigid, modern scientific research is a dynamic, creative endeavor. In conclusion, while being an artist allows for emotional expression, being a scientist offers the chance to constantly question our surroundings and solve crucial global challenges. For these reasons, I find pursuing a scientific career to be substantially more interesting.
