Question 3.2 · Inglés PAU Galicia Extraordinaria (2ª lengua extranjera) 2023

3.2. Which do you prefer, going to the cinema or watching films and series at home on television/ your computer/ your mobile phone? Why? (Approximately 120 words)

Solución: Sample answer: Although watching films at home is undeniably comfortable and convenient, I personally prefer going to the cinema whenever I have the chance. First of all, the immersive experience that a movie theater provides cannot be matched by any home setup. The massive screen and the surround sound system make you feel as if you were part of the story. Furthermore, attending the cinema feels like a special event or ritual where you disconnect from social media and everyday distractions. Nevertheless, streaming at home allows pause buttons and flexibility, but cinema offers an emotional and communal atmosphere that truly brings movies to life. In conclusion, for quality and atmosphere, the cinema will always remain my favourite option.
