Solución: Tourism has become a key activity in modern cities, sparking debate about its real impact on urban life. While some argue that it improves the urban environment, others point out serious drawbacks. On the one hand, tourism brings substantial economic benefits. It generates jobs in hospitality, retail, and transportation, and encourages local authorities to restore monuments and maintain public spaces. On the other hand, mass tourism can cause overcrowding, noise, and rising housing prices, which often forces local residents to leave central neighbourhoods. In addition, excessive waste and strain on public services can reduce the quality of life for inhabitants. In conclusion, tourism can certainly make a city better by boosting its economy and culture, provided that local governments manage it sustainably and protect residents' needs.
