Ejercicio 5 - Option A · Inglés PAU Valencia Extraordinaria 2025

A. How do YouTube and other social media influence your life and environment?

Solución: Nowadays, YouTube and other social media platforms play an essential role in our daily lives. On a personal level, they have changed how I communicate, study, and entertain myself. For instance, whenever I need to understand a difficult academic topic, I turn to educational YouTube channels, which explain complex concepts clearly and quickly. Furthermore, platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp help me stay connected with friends and family. However, social media also affects my environment in negative ways. Many teenagers spend countless hours scrolling through short videos, leading to reduced concentration and a lack of physical activity. In addition, online interactions sometimes replace meaningful face-to-face conversations among peers. In conclusion, while social media provides valuable learning opportunities and global connectivity, it is crucial to use it responsibly to avoid distraction and maintain healthy relationships in our immediate surroundings.
