6. b) Formal email writing. Complaining about a disappointing stay. In your email, be sure to a) state when and where you stayed; b) explain (not just enumerate) what problems you experienced during your stay; c) describe how these problems affected your stay; and d) politely request appropriate compensation.

Solución: Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Grand Coastline Apartments in Brighton from 12th to 16th May, which I booked through your platform (booking reference #84920). Upon arrival, I discovered that the property differed significantly from the website advertisement. The apartment was advertised as having ocean views and fully functional air conditioning; however, our windows overlooked a noisy construction site, and the cooling system was completely broken. Furthermore, despite requesting maintenance immediately, nobody arrived to inspect the fault during our entire stay. These issues severely disrupted our holiday. Because of the excessive heat inside the rooms and the continuous daytime noise, my family was unable to rest properly or enjoy the trip as intended. Given that the service provided fell far short of what was promised, I believe a partial refund of the booking fee is warranted. I look forward to hearing from you promptly regarding this matter.
