Solución: Dear Mom, You won't believe what happened yesterday! Dad and I were catching some waves at North Shore when we noticed a girl who had fallen off her board and was being dragged by a huge undertow. She hit a reef, lost her board, and was struggling to keep her head above water. Without hesitating, Dad and I paddled over as fast as we could. Dad managed to grab her arm while I held onto her broken leash to steady us. Together, we pulled her onto Dad's longboard and caught a smaller wave back to the beach, where lifeguards quickly attended to her minor cuts. Her name is Leilani, and later that evening, her parents invited us to a traditional Hawaiian dinner. They couldn't stop thanking us and even gave Dad a handmade wooden surfboard necklace! For the rest of our trip, we plan to focus on preparing for the competition on Friday, visit the Volcanoes National Park, and take it a bit easier. Love, Alex
