A.5.- Write about 150 to 200 words on the following topic: Some people prefer to live in hot climates whereas others prefer the cold ones. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

While some individuals thrive in warm, sunny destinations, others feel far more comfortable and energetic in cooler regions. Both environments present distinct advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, advocates of hot climates argue that sunshine has a positive effect on mood and mental health. Warm weather encourages an outdoor lifestyle, making it easier to engage in sports, socialize on terraces, and enjoy beaches. Moreover, summer clothing is lighter and more comfortable. However, extreme heat can become unbearable and even dangerous for one's health. On the other hand, supporters of cold climates appreciate the cozy atmosphere of winter and the opportunity to participate in seasonal activities like skiing. In addition, colder environments often facilitate better sleep and focus, since modern heating systems make indoor life very pleasant. In my opinion, living in a temperate to warm climate is generally preferable, as sunny days promote active habits and a happier lifestyle. Nevertheless, experiencing diverse seasons ensures a balanced and stimulating routine throughout the year.
