In my opinion, while AI will profoundly transform these professions, it will never completely eliminate the need for human professionals. On the one hand, AI tools can automate repetitive and mechanical tasks. For instance, secretaries can use chatbots to schedule meetings and draft routine emails in seconds. Similarly, algorithms can generate basic financial reports or sports recaps far quicker than journalists. This efficiency allows workers to save valuable time. On the other hand, writing is not merely about combining words according to grammar rules; it requires critical thinking, empathy, creativity, and cultural context. Investigative journalists uncover stories through personal interviews and emotional intuition, which machines lack. Furthermore, editors provide subjective judgment, ethical reasoning, and nuanced understanding of tone that an algorithm cannot replicate. In conclusion, technology will act as a powerful co-pilot rather than a complete replacement, enhancing human productivity while keeping creativity and ethics in our hands.
