b. Do you think that absolutely everybody older than 18 years old should be allowed to vote in Spain? Why or why not?

Solución: In my opinion, voting is one of the most fundamental democratic rights, and granting it to all citizens over the age of eighteen is essential for a truly representative society. When individuals reach adulthood, they pay taxes, obey national laws, and face the legal consequences of their actions. Therefore, it is only fair that they participate in choosing their political leaders. However, some people argue that certain exceptions should apply, such as individuals with severe cognitive impairments or convicted criminals serving sentences for serious crimes. While these concerns are understandable, disenfranchising any group can create dangerous precedents that weaken democracy. In recent years, Spain has made progress by allowing people with intellectual disabilities to vote, which promotes equality and inclusion. In conclusion, I firmly believe that every citizen over eighteen should retain the right to vote. A modern democracy must ensure that all voices are represented in Parliament.
