While it offers undeniable benefits, I agree that our growing dependence on it has started to generate serious negative effects. First of all, social media and mobile devices often isolate individuals rather than connect them. People spend hours scrolling through screens instead of engaging in meaningful face-to-face interactions, which can lead to loneliness and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Furthermore, constant connectivity damages physical health and reduces productivity. Sedentary lifestyles, poor sleep patterns, and online distractions are increasingly common among young people. In conclusion, although technology facilitates communication and access to knowledge, excessive reliance on digital devices harms both our health and our personal relationships. Therefore, it is crucial to use technology responsibly.
